Lake's Paradise at half hour's drive from Rome;

Lago di Vico, on the other hand, is a forty-minute drive from Rome. In the Lazio region, with its beautiful and varied landscape, Lake Vico together with Lake Bracciano allow sailing, windsurfing, fishing and all water sports, sunbathing and swimming.
The nature reserve of Lake Vico with its surrounding hills and famous woods (the beautiful beech-woods - 1050m above sea level), also allows for mountain life, walks, trips and excursions. Climbing up one of the hills that dominate Lake Vico, before sunrise, when the mist has not yet dissipated, rising from the bed is well worth the show: a stretch of water set in the greenery, between pale pink reflections and silver that make it enchanted and truly lunar.
